What is Longing and Heartache?

Do you ever feel like something is missing? A tender ache in your chest for something, but you're not sure what? Is your ache for closer connections? More meaningful relationships? Or maybe you're wishing you had chosen to work on your career? Or wondering if it's too late to have children? Perhaps you miss a time that was simpler, or the opposite, a time in your life that you were wild and free? Or perhaps, yours is grief. A missing of someone or something that was grand and beautiful and fulfilling, and now feels so far away, and you sense that ache in your body, in the place where it once lived. 

This retreat will explore 3 types of longing.
